Derby Kayaking

First-time kayakers and watermen with a bit of experience will have a blast at this watersports centre near Darley Abbey in Derby! Get some paddle time under the tuition of pro instructors, for a stag party Saturday that's guaranteed to leave you wet and happy.

After an initial kitting-out and safety briefing, your stag party will be led to the calm waters of the River Derwent. Here, you'll learn the basic strokes before embarking on a trip downriver. Learn to paddle like a pro, or improve your existing skills, as you compete in a series of kayaking games.

You won't simply be messing about on the river on your stag part kayaking lesson! Everything you learn is part of the British Canoe Union (BCU) Star Awards. Learn the skills, play the games, and try not to rock the boat...

If your groom is a guy who likes to get outdoors, a kayaking session is the perfect Saturday afternoon activity. Set in the magnificent Derbyshire countryside, this is athletic enough to make the boys forget their hangovers, without being so hard it hurts.
