Located at a stunning activity centre just outside the city centre, this place is just where your stag party needs to head if you want plenty of pulse pounding moments and fist bumping excitement.

Never thrown an axe in your life? Not a problem. Remember - this is something that's ingrained in our DNA. Our viking ancestors were doing it centuries ago, and now it's your stag party's turn to grab the handle and chuck it towards the target. This event is ideal for beginners, as everyone will be given instruction on how the event works. Come on, lads; you know it makes sense. Get your names down!

If you want to include this on your stag party's trip to Steel City, get in touch. We'll make sure that everything is arranged before you've even spotted Meadowhall from the M1. When you arrive at the site, friendly instructors will be there to take you through a safety briefing before giving you instructions on how to get to grips with throwing an axe.

This is more about skill than how hard you can throw an axe. Once you've got the basics down, each one of you will step up to the mark to try your hand at hitting a target a few meters from the throwing line. The guy who scores the highest points as you go head to head will be crowned champion. So give it your all and toast the winner in the bar later on!
