Freeeeeedom! Paint your face blue and start talking like a tribal chieftain, chaps. For a proper manly centrepiece to your stag weekend afternoon, we recommend dressing up in tartan skirts and chucking cabers around.
There aren't many places in the UK where you can take part in a miniature version of the legendary Highland Games, but Blackpool is one of them! Get your sporran out and compete in welly whanging, caber toss and tug o war for the grand master's title and possession of the coveted Golden Haggis.
The good news is you don't even have to bring your own kilts. Dodgy wigs and tartan dresses are provided by the brilliant staff at this event, so all you lot have to do is rock up with enough motor control to throw a Wellington boot across a field. And if you've been partying hard in the Pleasure Beach and Promenade, that might be as much as you can manage...
As well as traditional Scottish games like caber tossing and welly hurling, you'll be challenged to traditional races and tests of strength. Archery is included in the Games, so make sure you've got a steady hand!
A hilarious addition to a Blackpool stag weekend, the mini Highland Games is also a great way to get some fresh air and exercise. Re-energise the fellers, dress up as lairds and play to win. Hoots mon!
