Give the groom a 'need for speed' of a different sort, cricket to the extreme - Oxford Turbo Cricket. So gather up the lads and prepare yourselves for the fast, fun version of your favourite game.
You don't have to be Joe Root or James Anderson to have a brilliant time playing turbo cricket on your final weekend of freedom. Plus, you don't have to rely on the fickle weather to have a brilliant time. Turbo cricket can be played indoors and out. It's played on a smaller pitch and the ball is softer than the standard, so you lot don't have to worry about taking a ball to the face and sporting black eyes on the groom's big day. Win!
When you arrive at the venue your stag party will be met by our friendly event instructors. They'll take your stag party through the rules of this fast paced version of cricket - and since the ball is soft you won't have to worry about lugging around a ton of safety gear while you're out on the pitch. So how's it work? Turbo cricket is an hour long game where batsmen get as many turns as they'd like but have to retire at 20. Everyone on the team has to bowl and there are three 'turbo overs' where the runs are doubled.
With plenty of twists and turns along the way, your stag party won't want the game to end. It's the perfect sport for bonding your bros, getting your stag party spirit pumped and have everyone's confidence brimming for a big night out around town. Come on, lads.
