How to keep the Stag party on Budget

It’s time for booking the stag party and you have a budget to keep to, it’s a challenge because you’ll want to fit so much in to the weekend. We will help you divide that budget into activities, accommodation, partying and of course beer funds! We have a few top tips to follow when you are thinking about keeping to the budget on the stag do:

Book early to get best rates and deals:

Like anything if you plan and book in advance you are more likely to get the best deals for the stag weekend. Just let us know the date you are looking at and any destinations or activities you have in mind and we will sort the rest and get a quote to you. Don’t leave the planning to the last minute otherwise you’ll pay for it. Finding accommodation is easier and cheaper when done in advance with plenty of time to spare. Activities that you’ll want to do will get booked up so make sure these are booked ahead too! Don’t expect to just be able to turn up to the activities and do it there and then!

Pay in instalments:

This is a great way for everyone to plan and budget their money, paying in instalments allows everybody to spread the cost over the months before the stag do. This way it’s not a huge cost all in one month. By the time the stag do comes around all the payments will be done and all you’ll need to take is spending money for the beers and food! We have an easy online payment system that lets each one of your party do this.

Include food & drinks when booking:

We can help you include some meals into your stag weekend so that they are already planned and set up. This way you will not be spending money on food here there and everywhere it will be booked and ready for you. We can recommend you places based on how much you are wanting to spend on the food. A much better way to organise your meals than just winging it on the night.

Visit a few cheap bars for pre-drinks:

A big yes to this top tip! Before heading out into the bustling streets and the most popular bars get yourself to the cheap ones and get the bevy’s flowing! A cheap and cheerful way to start your big weekend off, and it keeps within the budget too so it’s a win win.

Choose a cost effective fancy dress:

There is no need to go big and expensive when you’re thinking of fancy dress – get creative and make this fun rather than hassle. If you want to do fancy dress but it’s not the main thing you want to spend the budget on then make sure you keep this cost to a minimum. Crazy shirt night, pub golf or maybe it’s just the stag who you dress up?

We are here to help you book the best stag weekend that anyone has ever been on, you tell us your budget, themes, activities you want to do and here at Stag Weekends we will make it happen!
