Benidorm Self Drive Boat

Ahoy ye landlubbers! Get yer sea legs on a self-drive boat and discover another side to Benidorm. If you want to do something more exciting than lying on Levante beach all day, hire a bunch of these 5-man boats and set off to conquer the high seas...or go 4 miles to Peacock Island for a lazy lunch at the laid-back bar and restaurant.

As the name suggests, you don't need to be Admiral Nelson to operate a self-drive boat. No complicated knots or hoisting of sails. Simply move the lever forwards and backwards, and hit speeds of up to 14 knots. Opening the sun shade is child's play, as is dropping anchor. Sail straight to Peacock Island or the idyllic bay of La Cala Finestrat if you fancy a more chilled day out away from the masses of tourists.

Stag parties can rent self-drive boats for 2-4 hours. There are 8 boats available to hire and the price includes fuel.

This is the easy way for groups with little or no experience to enjoy a little sailing action whilst in Benidorm. The boats are moored at Benidorm Port, which is within easy walking distance of the middle of town.
