Don't be put off by the distance you have to travel from Sofia; private return transfers are included in your package so all of the stress is taken out of it - it might even give you chance to get your head down for an hour or so after a late one the night before.

Your instructor will give you a detailed briefing on how to use the rafts or kayaks and explain the route you will be going and what to expect. Then, you will begin your trip along the river; be prepared to take in some of the incredible backdrops Bulgaria has to offer.

But, also be prepared to get wet - we would advise you bring a waterproof!
