Newcastle Golf

Everyone knows Newcastle is the ideal place for a beery stag do - but did you know it's also one of the finest golfing destinations in the north of England? Chaps, if you've been given the task of planning a weekend for a golf nut, pay attention!

This par-71 course is the perfect challenge for a golfing stag do. Situated just outside Newcastle itself, on the spectacular Newcastle, Gateshead and Tynemouth coast, the fairways boast epic sea views, and there are one or two tricksy holes to keep things interesting.

The course is open all year round, and is the best in the Newcastle area for setup and facilities. You'll be playing on USGA-standard greens. You can even use a massive 14 bay driving range to hone your skills before you begin.

Clubs can be provided, and buggies and trollies are also available. And with tee times starting at 7.30am, early bird enthusiasts can play a dawner while the sun rises over the Tyne!

Obviously, if your stag do is full of normal people, who have no intention of getting out of bed until breakfast is nearly over, we've got access to tee times for most of the day! Last tee off for a full 18 holes is 3pm. Book as soon as you have a guaranteed date to avoid disappointment: tees go quickly.
