Leeds Golf

Leeds is a winner for the stag do with a decent handicap. Just 20 minutes from the city centre, there's a quaint West Yorkshire village complete with championship golf course. Pack your sun visors and get on it!

There are multiple stag do options at this golf centre. In addition to the championship round, there's a par 3 course to test your mettle. Both courses are surrounded by trees and picturesque Yorkshire countryside, and the designers didn't stint on the bunkers.

Refreshingly, the dress code here is quite lax. Bare chests are a no-no, and flip flops are right out - but apart from that, you're pretty much OK. So if there are some golfers and some first-timers in your stag do, you won't have to worry about some of you being turned away for having the wrong colour trousers.

We'll book a tee time to suit chaps who have been enjoying themselves in the Civic Quarter and New York Street. No early mornings necessary! We do advise that you book fast though: as one of the most relaxed and well-designed courses in the Leeds/Harrogate area, weekend tee offs are snapped up as fast as they become available.

18 holes of golf are just what the boys need after a night on the beers. Strap on your gloves, address the ball and forget drinking games for the afternoon.
