Fuengirola Sphering

Sphering has become one of the biggest stag weekend sports out there. Half contest, half crazy adrenaline activity, it involves suiting up inside a huge inflatable hamster ball and being pushed down a hill. If you've never done it, you'll love it - and once you've done it once, you'll want to do it again and again!

Climb into your sphere on top of a hill run just outside Fuengirola. If you look hard enough, you can probably just about make out the Moorish lines of Sohail Castle through the multilayered plastic ball! Start walking to get the ball rolling - literally - and then everything goes mental as you barrel down the run at speeds of around 27mph.

Start out with a dry run, then up the stakes to aqua sphering (same thing, but with a load of water trapped inside the sphere with you). The water gives added speed and stability to the ball on the outside - on the inside, it makes things twice as crazy. Think hamster in a runaway washing machine and you're on the right track.

Stag weekend lunacy doesn't get much more hilarious than this. One of our favourite additions to an afternoon in Fuengirola.
