Edinburgh Indoor Karting
Edinburgh is a great place for a spot of indoor karting. With the biggest track in Scotland at your disposal, there's plenty of room for settling old scores and setting new records!
The karts here are top of the line. You'll find the same models burning rubber at the legendary Schumacher karting circuit in Germany. Developing 200cc, they go like poo off a spade. Luckily for you lot, you've got a few practice laps to get used to them before we send you out on the actual race...
The stag weekend setup at the Edinburgh kart centre is simple and classic. Pick a race type, and duke it out for the glory! You can choose a Grand Prix format, a team endurance trial or a head to head knockout system.
Knockouts see you racing in heats, racking up points based on your final position in each round. Points determine placings for top finishing drivers in the championship final. Finalists race for a coveted podium spot and a medal, while everyone else cheers like loonies from the spectator's area!
The Grand Prix is all about qualifiers and a showpiece race, while endurance contests see you split into teams to beat the clock. You'll need to factor in driver swap-outs and refuelling time as you try to come up with your race strategy...
