Blackpool Rum Tasting

Yo ho ho and a bottle of yum! Put fifteen men on your best friend's chest as you learn the finer points of rum tasting in this cheeky afternoon event.

You'll be amazed at the quality and variety of rum on offer to the discerning drinker. Sweet rums, spicy rums, premium rums and take-the-roof-of-your-mouth-off rums are all served in this popular bar in central Blackpool. Your stag party will get to sample six of them: but can you tell the good from the bad (and the ugly) without seeing the bottles they were poured from?

The challenge is simple: listen to a rum master as she sets up your shots, then undertake two three-glass blind tastings to find out how much you've really learned!

Can you spot the primo stuff from the paint stripper? Do you have what it takes to become a Rum Ambassador, or will you end up in the gutter outside Central Pier?

Six free shots aren't the only give-aways on the menu. At the start of your rum tasting, everyone in the stag party gets a showcase cocktail and the chance to embarrass the stag with stories about his lack of drinking prowess. At the end, the lamest performers in the taste test are given very silly prizes!
