Birmingham Archery

Medieval sport meets modern technology in this archery session. Master this centuries-old sport at an activity centre on the outskirts of Birmingham within woodland that dates back to the 1500s. You'll be using cutting-edge Olympic-style archery gear to hit targets that become more challenging as you improve.

After a welcome and a quick briefing, each member of your stag party will be supplied with a bow and arrows best suited for his size, which means you compete on a level playing field. Master the correct stance, learn how to nock an arrow, set up the shot, draw and load, anchor, transfer, aim, expand, release and follow through in one go. A real test of skill, archery will separate the stags from the fawns.

Archery is perfect for a stag party. Anyone can pick up a bow and arrow and have a go. It's one of those rare activities that goes down well with gym junkies and couch potatoes.
