Wake the chaps up on day two of your Sofia stag do with an exhilarating afternoon of water sports.You don't have to be near the coast to enjoy wakeboarding and speedboat rides. With perfect lakes just outside town, the Bulgarian capital has the perfect answer to your morning-after blues!

This is more than just a couple of hours messing around on the water. You've got private speedboat hire for three whole hours, use of a wakeboard and all the necessary equipment, instruction, and access to sun beds. Think of it as a full day out at the lake, with a bit of adrenaline thrown in to spice up all the chilling out.

Take turns on the wakeboard, which takes a bit of mastering but rocks once you get used to it! The trick is to lean your weight into each turn, and cut the water with the edges of the board.

When everyone's pulled some moves and taken a few hilarious tumbles, pile back into the speedboat for a cruise around the lake. You even get a refuelling stop at a restaurant, where you'll snack on classic bar food and down a beer each, enjoying one of the finest views in Sofia.
