Tough, exciting and definitively manly, archery is the art of controlling explosive forces without machinery, a muzzle, or any kind of safety device! Before Wyatt Earp and Jesse James slung their guns, before Bourne took out the baddies, the original badasses wore leather tunics and fired arrows at each other.
You won't be shooting at actual humans in your stag weekend archery session, but you will get the chance to make a big mess of traditional bullseye targets. You'll need strength, co-ordination and discipline to hit the gold.
We're taking you to an adventure centre just a short drive from Newcastle city centre, where every chap in the party gets to handle a genuine longbow. You'll learn the ancient art of bowstring-powered hunting as you go from novice to master under the expert tuition of our instructors!
Archery isn't easy, so we've made sure you get plenty of one on one advice before we let you loose on the grand final. After everyone's gained confidence nocking and firing their arrows, you'll be challenged for supremacy in the ultimate stag weekend tourney! Can you handle the pressure?
