Derby Climbing

Strap yourself into a harness, clip on the safety line, and prepare to climb higher and harder than you've ever been! A climbing afternoon is a perfect stag do activity, combining adrenaline, outdoor adventure, and a real sense of challenges met and achievements completed.

Your instructors are expert climbers, who also have plenty of experience in teaching novices to climb. They'll help your stag do guests understand the key techniques they need for successful climbing, and slowly build their confidence. Before too long, everyone will be making climbs they would never have thought possible at the beginning of the day!

Under proper instruction, climbing is one of the fastest sports in which to progress from total beginner to your first achievement. Your climbing instructors will take you to a spot near Derby that's perfect for climbing. Initially, the group will learn core techniques like bouldering and traversing. As they get more confident, they'll find themselves mastering difficult sections and reaching the top of the climbs.

There's nothing like completing a difficult climb for the first time. The sensation of unbelievable accomplishment really gives the stag do a group feeling, and it'll also give the boys something to talk about over a few pints on Iron Gate later on!
