Get ready for war, soldier! Paintballing is still one of the all-time classic stag weekend activities, and in Bristol you get to do it for a whole half day under woodland cover.
Every chap in the battalion gets 100 paintballs to play with, plus smoke grenades and the absolute latest in simulated weaponry. Are you up for it? Of course you are!
Bristol's best paintball centre is just 15 minutes away from the city centre - and yet when you arrive, you'll genuinely feel like you've been transported to the middle of a war zone. A combination of natural cover, realistic battlefield terrain and man made obstacles creates the kind of scene you usually see in Metal Gear Solid or Call of Duty. Hide behind oil drums, splash through ponds, break into disused bunkers and cower in bombed-out shelters.
The guys running the day have plenty of new games and tricks up their sleeves, but they'll throw a couple of favourites into the mix too. After an equipment and safety briefing, you'll suit up and get straight into Capture the Flag, followed by a hilarious stag hunt. Chaaaarge!
Games include speed, strategy and rescue styles. You'll also get the chance to storm enemy bases, and at the end of the afternoon the best man and stag face off in a High Noon style shootout. On three, two, one... draw!
