Bristol Archery

An Olympic sport that makes you look like a total badass, archery is an epic choice for your Bristol stag weekend. Fire lightweight traditional bows at standard and explosive targets for a shooting experience that will make you feel like a barbarian warrior!

Experienced, friendly instructors are on hand to show you the basics, from handling a bow to nocking the arrow and hitting the target. Learn to adjust your stance to take advantage of your strength and weight. Experiment with different finger grips. Draw the string tight, and keep the arrow shaft close to your cheek. Then... let fly! If you hit one of the reactive targets, you'll be rewarded with a massive shower of sparks and smoke.

Archery is a brilliant way to spend an hour on your stag weekend in Bristol. It's also an awesome way to blow off some pre-wedding steam. Just visualise the bride's annoying aunt in the centre of the target, and loose off your best shot!

Archery can be done as a standalone activity, or incorporated into a full afternoon of shooting events. We recommend upgrading to the 'zombie shooting' package, which includes assault rifles and crossbows as well as traditional archery.
