The ultimate battle for bragging rights!

Who needs coasteering and climbing when you've got the egg and spoon? Forget the usual Bournemouth stag weekend stuff. The beach isn't going anywhere. Take an hour or two out of your schedule for Old School Sports Day. Loaded with nostalgia, this event includes all the classics and is bound to get the whole group wired and ready to go drinking round Bournemouth town centre later on. It's got the lot: silly races, banter and competition. If you need to break the ice and bond a group in 60 minutes, nothing beats good old P.E. Take a trip back to the days when the sack race was a seriously big deal and whoever won the 100m race got to be the star of the next school assembly.

Do a Usain and bolt to the finish line at top speed. Tumble like a mini Max Whitlock. Score the most points and your house will win the whole event and bragging rights for all eternity.

Fancy dress isn't a must but it would be bad form to pass up an opportunity like this. Especially since you compete in houses, which as any good Harry Potter fan knows is how they roll at Hogwarts. Which should give you an idea for the stag's costume. You're a wizard, Harry!

If you do happen to be left with the wooden spoon just remember what your mum used to tell you: it's not the winning but the taking part. Except everyone knows that's really bollocks and it's all about winning, so get out there and smash it.
