Stag parties in Bristol could visit the Thekla

Stag parties in Bristol might enjoy catching a little live music to kickstart their celebrations in style.

The Thekla describes itself as "possibly the best bar and venue in Bristol" and men might find that it offers something to suit their tastes.

US-rockers The Bronx take to the stage on Monday May 3rd with support from side-project Mariachi El Bronx and the critically-acclaimed Brighton band Ghost Of A Thousand.

Those wishing to attend the gig can purchase tickets for £11.

Men that would prefer something different could instead opt to attend a tour that has the backing of music magazine the NME. The Radar Tour rolls into Bristol on May 5th and plays host to newcomers Hurts, Everything Everything and Darwin Deez.

Tickets to catch the bands cost £9.50, which may ensure that revellers are left with plenty of extra cash to splash for the remainder of their time in the city.
