Stag parties in Blackpool can enjoy star-studded Pride

Stag parties in Blackpool over the weekend of May 15th and 16th may want to check out the town's Pride event, featuring a host of celebrities.

While it might not be the music of choice for many stags, The Cheeky Girls and the X Factor's Lucie Jones are set to perform, along with eighties band Tight Fit, famous for the song The Lion Sleeps Tonight.

Blackpool stag parties will need to head down to Swainson Street to ensure they do not miss out on any of the event.

Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Andrew MacPherson, vice-chairman of Blackpool Pride, stated: "We tried to get a range of acts from different eras to make sure there is something for everybody."

He added it is the town's Pride's fifth birthday and people come from all across the country to attend, many of whom stay for the entire weekend.

Joining his former X Factor colleague is Daniel Fox, who is set to enjoy his second Blackpool Pride.
