Bond fans on Newquay stag weekend could find some 007 magic

Stag parties in Newquay who think of themselves as 007s may want to check out where Die Another Day was filmed.

Those on a Newquay stag weekend heading down to Cornwall can visit Holywell Bay, where the opening sequence of Pierce Brosnan's 2002 film was shot.

While you may not want to swap your beer for a shaken-not-stirred Martini, the Mirror suggests those who head to the spot, close to Newquay, could experience "a Bond moment of your own".

"Cornwall is emerging as a fabulous location for making movies," the newspaper adds.

Tim Burton's recent hit Alice in Wonderland was filmed at Torpoint, while rumours are circulating that the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie could be shot in St Ives.

After a few beers or Martinis too many, those on a Newquay stag weekend could relax at one of the many beaches and relax with a spot of fishing, surfing or boating.
