Comedy club could prove ideal for men on stag weekends in Leeds

A stag weekend in Leeds could be rounded off with a night of laughs at the Courtyard Comedy Club.

Those in the city on Sunday April 18th may enjoy catching two rising stars of the comedy circuit - Matt Kirshen and Dan Nightingale - in action at the Courtyard Theatre.

Kirshen has a strong comedic CV with an appearance on NBC's Last Comic Standing, an Edinburgh Festival show and a series of Channel 4's Rude Tube behind him.

The Metro said of the funnyman: "Matt Kirshen is a definite one to watch, his innocent looks belying a sharp, surreal and often gloriously sick mind."

Visitors to the Courtyard Theatre will find the 350-capacity venue located within West Yorkshire Playhouse.

Men looking for something a little different may prefer to catch the sounds of long-since split Manchester band The Smiths at the Cockpit on Friday April 9th, as well-established tribute act The Smith Indeed hit the stage.
