Stag parties in Bristol could enjoy 'swinging sixties' musical

If your stag weekend in Bristol fancies a trip to the theatre then A Slice of Saturday Night might be the musical for you.

The musical at the Backwell Playhouse can be caught from Thursday March 24th to Saturday March 27th, with performances beginning at 19:30 GMT.

Written by the Heather Brothers this slice of sixties musical action aims to transport the audience back to around 1964, when the hems were high and the fringes low.

Backwell Playhouse said: "Step back in time to the swinging 60s as a group of wide-eyed teenagers discover everything there is to know about love, life and music."

The musical will be performed by the Playhouse youth group.

The playhouse aims to offer a wide range of live entertainment from both professional and amateur performers, offering good audience views and a foyer for pre-show and interval drinks.
