Bournemouth stag parties could head to Air Festival

Men on stag weekends in Bournemouth this summer might be lucky enough to catch some of the town's Air Festival.

The event was previewed at the town's Odeon cinema, where films were shown from last year's display.

Stag parties in Bournemouth from August 19th to 22nd this year may consider watching the event, which will feature the Red Arrows flying with their first female pilot.

There will also be the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Eurofighter Typhoon.

Head of tourism in the town Mark Smith told the Bournemouth Echo: "From the 1.3 million visitors we generated £30 million worth of income for the town. And the air festival has helped create an additional 650 jobs for the local economy."

Stag parties should be spoilt for choice at the Bournemouth Air Festival, with food and free events also on offer.

Organisers have revealed that there will also be live music, street entertainers, fireworks and film screenings.
