Leeds stag weekend could start with rugby match

Groups planning a Leeds stag weekendmay want to start the festivities with a Friday night trip to the rugby.

Leeds stag parties taking place this weekend might like to take the opportunity to head to Headingley Carnegie in Leeds to watch the Rhinos take on Hull KR.

The 20:00 GMT kick-off could provide the excellent appetiser to a night out in the city centre with the Headingley stadium just a short taxi ride away from the centre of Leeds.

The match could see centre Michael Coady in action after Rhino's head coach Brian McClennan included the 22-year-old in the squad for the first time this season.

The youngster would make his tenth appearance in rugby league and could possibly line-up alongside Tom Bush, who has been recalled to the squad due to injuries.

Steve Ganson has been announced as the official for Friday night's big clash. It will be Ganson's first appearance at a Rhino's match since he officiated at last season's Grand Final at Old Trafford.
