Bournemouth stag parties could enjoy Slam Dunk festival

Bournemouth stag parties could head to the Slam Dunk festival this summer.

Slam Dunk By The Sea will be held at the O2 Academy in the city on Friday May 28th.

Bournemouth stag parties scheduled for the May Bank Holiday weekend will be perfectly positioned to take advantage of the announcement that the Slam Dunk Festival will now be coming to the city.

The punk, hardcore, emo and ska event will see performances from the likes of New Found Glory, Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals.

The popular annual festival has also seen a Scottish leg added to the schedule and will hit Glasgow on Monday May 31st.

Bournemouth boasts a range of music venues that regularly host big live acts.

The Bournemouth International Centre and its sister venues the Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom and the Pier Theatre are situated in the heart of the city.

The O2 Academy Bournemouth is located in Boscombe.
