Stag parties in Nottingham could enjoy Grammy award-winning act

Stag parties in Nottingham could find that a bit of live music is the perfect way to start their celebrations.

Rock City is one of the country's best-known live music venues and plays host to a range of acts to cater for most musical tastes.

Multiple Grammy award-winning band and thrash-metal icons Slayer - famed for tracks such as Raining Blood - hit the stage at the venue on May 31st and could liven up proceedings for revellers.

Support for the gig comes from The Haunted and tickets cost £25, which might leave plenty of extra cash left to spend.

If that is not to the taste of partygoers then the city has plenty more to offer with a huge number of bars, pubs and clubs.

Jenny Leighton, a spokesperson for Experience Nottinghamshire, said: "There's also a number of late night venues including late bars, small boutique clubs and Nottingham's mega nightclub Oceana".
