Birmingham stag parties have more pub options
People on a Birmingham stag weekend may soon have even more choice of bars and pubs.
National pub chain J D Wetherspoon has revealed it is looking at opening new sites is Northfield, Redditch, Stourbridge and Yardley, according to the Birmingham Post.
Birmingham stag parties visiting the city from April 28th onwards may also be pleased to hear that all of the existing outlets are going to start opening at 07:00 BST to expand the breakfast service offered.
This follows reports from the chain that its half-yearly profits rose 17.5 per cent to £36.2 million.
Chairman Tim Martin said: "The motivation is that pubs depend on people. If we can attract and retain the best people then we will do better and it is as simple as that."
As well as the possibility of more Wetherspoon pubs in the city, Birmingham stag parties could also look forward to better transport to and from the region.
Transport secretary Lord Andrew Adonis announced today (March 11th) proposals to connect London to Birmingham and other major UK cities with a high speed rail network.
