Stag weekends in Nottingham may include Jackson Browne gig
Men planning a stag weekend in Nottingham should consider scheduling around a performance by Jackson Browne, set for July 1st.
Singer/songwriter Browne will be joined on stage at the Royal Concert Hall by friend and collaborator David Lindley, reports the Nottingham Evening Post.
The musician has not appeared in the East Midlands city for about six years - potentially making this a rare opportunity to combine some of his best-loved tracks with a stag party in Nottingham.
Lindley, whom the newspaper describes as a "stringed-instrument virtuoso," has played a part in many of Browne's albums.
Indeed, the pair are set to release a live album entitled Love is Strange.
However, it is their performance Trent-side that will likely be of most interest to those planning a stag weekend in Nottingham.
According to his official website, Browne has "written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music", with his last release coming in the shape of 2008's Time the Conqueror.
