Stag parties in Blackpool could 'go to Las Vegas'

Men on stag weekends in Blackpool looking for a touch of glamour to kick-start their celebrations may enjoy One Night In Vegas.

The spirit of the entertainment capital of the world comes to the north-west on Saturday June 5th at the Grand Theatre.

Partygoers could enjoy the evening, which promises "beautiful dancing girls, spectacular costumes, big band swing and powerful musical numbers".

Songs from hit musicals Phantom of the Opera, Lion King, Copacabana and Dreamgirls will be played in addition to classics from Barry Manilow, Bobby Darin, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Michael Jackson.

Tickets for the show, performed by Martyn Lucas and The British Philharmonic Orchestra, cost £18.50 and might leave revellers with plenty of extra cash to splash in the town.

Alternatively, men may prefer catching 1980s superstar Boy George - performing his biggest hits - in concert at the venue on Sunday April 18th, tickets for the gig cost £25.
