Cardiff stag parties set to enjoy late rugby kick-off
The 8:00PM kick-off for the Wales and France Six Nations fixture on Friday (February 26th) could give those on stag night in Cardiff the opportunity to attend the match.
It will be the first game of the tournament's history to be scheduled for a weekday in the UK, but the late start will provide rugby enthusiasts time to get from the office to the Millennium Stadium.
One fan, Mark Rollings from Crowbridge, explained that the Welsh are passionate about rugby and although a rugby game is usually turned into an all-day experience, the atmosphere of previous games will be matched.
He explained to WalesOnline: "It does add a bit to the atmosphere when a night game is played. When we beat England in 2005 it was getting dark and that added something."
Wales have been on good form in this year's Six Nations, beating both England and Scotland, but will be hoping to turn round their poor record against France, having lost 12 out of 18 meetings.
