Sheffield stag weekend may include "star-studded concert"
A tribute concert with a host of top rock and TV stars could offer the perfect night for a stag party in Sheffield.
Fans of Def Leppard, Tony Christie, impressionist Jon Culshaw and singer-comedian Steve Womack will be treated to a special event taking place to celebrate the life of popular Sheffield DJ Dave Kilner, who passed away recently.
According to the Star, Sheffield City Hall will provide the venue for the star-studded spectacular on April 30th and ticket-holders will be supporting a campaign to get the late DJ a 'legends star' outside the town hall.
"We want to get as many people as possible to nominate him for a legends star on Sheffield's Walk Of Fame. We've contacted many people on Facebook and support is growing," said widow Shirley Kilner.
Another possible event which could attract Sheffield stag party holders is Sensoria - the music and film festival in the city - which offers gigs, screenings and exhibitions and attracts celebrities such as Mark Kermode and Jarvis Cocker.
