Stag parties in Bournemouth could choose to kickstart their celebrations with an evening of live music.

US-band Thirty Seconds To Mars hit the stage at the Bournemouth International Centre's Windsor Hall on February 24th and may prove to be ideal for revellers in the town.

The group is touring ahead of the release of their new album This Is War, the follow up to their multi-platinum debut A Beautiful Lie.

Performances at venues and festivals around the world has cemented the reputation of the band, which is fronted by Hollywood star Jared Leto.

The gig is a late addition to the group's UK tour which will also see them take in cities including Nottingham and Cardiff and with tickets costing £20, stag parties in Bournemouth could be left with plenty of extra cash to splash on their break.

Alternatively, men may prefer to catch the local football team AFC Bournemouth in action at Dean Court, with tickets costing as little as £14.
