Men on stag weekends in Leeds could enjoy a night of live music at one of the city's most popular gig venues.

The O2 Academy hosts a wide range of rock, pop and dance artists and could be the perfect setting for an evening of entertainment for revellers.

Classic rock band Hawkwind - celebrating their 40th anniversary - hits the stage at the venue on Saturday May 1st.

Tickets cost £20, which could ensure that those on stag weekends in Leeds have enough money left over to continue celebrating.

Alternatively, men may prefer to catch one of the UK's hottest new acts Chase and Status. The act shot to fame following the release of their album More Than A lot and have subsequently toured at festivals and venues across the world.

The duo makes a live performance at the Academy on May 4th, with tickets for the show costing £14.
