Men on stag weekends in Newcastle may enjoy an evening of live music with one of the UK's favourite bands of the 1990s.

Manchester band James won mainstream recognition during the Madchester movement but is best loved for its smash hit single Sit Down.

The band has remained largely inactive for much of the Noughties but is now back for a UK tour and take in the city's O2 Academy on April 6th.

Men celebrating on stag weekends in Newcastle may wish to catch the group and tickets cost £30.14.

Those who catch the band could be in for a treat as over the years they have been supported by groups who went on to huge acclaim, including The Stone Roses, Radiohead, Stereophonics and The Twang.

Alternatively, men could prefer to catch enduring indie pop band The Bluetones when they hit the stage at the venue on April 15th, with tickets costing £13.
