Stag parties in Leeds could enjoy Aussie funnyman

Men on stag parties in Leeds could enjoy a night of laughter by catching some stand-up comedy while they are in the city.

The Courtyard Comedy Club at the West Yorkshire playhouse could provide an ideal evening of entertainment to round off proceedings for those on a stag weekend in Leeds.

February's line-up is topped by controversial Australian funnyman Brendon Burns, a comedian who has hosted the 11 O'Clock Show but is best loved for his performances on the live circuit.

Newspaper the Scotsman said: "Loud, brash, rude, in your face and fantastically, laugh-out loud funny. This is really something special, a show that makes you howl with laugher, which takes you right up to the emotional edges and which draws its strength from something very deep and pure."

Tickets for the show cost £10 and support comes from improvisation and impersonation specialist Danny Buckler.

Leeds offers those on a stag weekend a huge variety of bars and clubs, ensuring that revellers can continue celebrating long into the night if they wish.
