Men on stag weekends in Bournemouth may enjoy live gig

Men on stag weekends in Bournemouth could enjoy catching pop sensation La Roux when she hits the town.

The O2 Academy plays host to the singer - famed for hits such as In For The Kill and Bulletproof - on Friday April 30th.

Tickets to catch the artist, who is currently celebrating a quarter of a million album sales, cost £15.

Men with slightly different tastes may enjoy a live performance from trancecore band Enter Shikari when they play the venue on February 11th.

Tickets for that gig cost £17 and support comes from the hotly tipped The King Blues and Rolo Tomassi.

Free parking is available near the venue - which is on Christchurch Road - after 18:00 GMT which could make the job of the designated driver much easier.

The venue is also just five minutes away from Bournemouth train station which should ensure that travellers coming in to the town make their way to the gig with ease.
