Watersports fans may enjoy a stag weekend in Bournemouth

Men could be interested in going on a stag weekend in Bournemouth.

The south-coast resort could offer a variety of attractions which could prove to be tempting for men with a variety of tastes.

A joint campaign between Bournemouth and Poole with the Coast with the Most stated that watersports prices range from as little as £10 for four hours' surf board hire, to £950 for a day trip jetting around the Dorset coastline in a "gleaming Sunseeker powerboat".

Peter Hampson, director at the British Resorts & Destinations Association, stated that Bournemouth offers "a quality beach and quality resort infrastructure. It's got good retail, good entertainment, restaurants, clubs, pubs".

He added that as a university town it also has "a certain vitality attributable to having a large resident population of young adults" and has the advantage of being easy to get to from most of central-southern England.
