Bristol stag parties may enjoy football fixture

Football fanatics on a stag weekend in Bristol may want to pay a visit to Ashton Gate to see one of the city's football sides.

Bristol City have a history dating back to 1894 and have played football at their current location for more than 100 years, meaning that those with a passion for history could also enjoy a visit to the stadium.

The club are currently in England's second tier, the Championship, and those in Bristol stag parties may fancy catching the side against table-topping Newcastle United on Saturday March 20th.

Adult tickets for the fixture can be obtained for £25, which could leave revellers with cash left over to spend on a night out in the city.

Bristol City are currently in 12th place in the Championship following a 2-2 draw against Watford on Monday (December 28th).
