Those on stag weekends in Blackpool may be interested in catching a night of stand-up comedy while in the town.

Comedian Ken Dodd and his Happiness Show will be hitting the stage at the Grand Theatre for an epic evening of entertainment over five hours on Saturday July 17th 2010.

Now in his 52nd year playing to the town's crowds, the entertainer could prove to be a hit for revellers on a stag weekend in Blackpool.

Tickets for the show range from £16 to £18 which means that those in stag parties in Blackpool could be left with extra cash to splash on their weekend

Neil Thomson, general manager of the venue, said: "Ken's energy, mirth and love for the theatre business never ceases to amaze me."

Those that cannot make this date may be keen to catch the show on one of the several dates he plays at the venue later in the year - including September 26th, October 10th and October 17th.
