Stag parties in Blackpool may enjoy a night watching Boy George onstage in the town next year.

The former Culture Club singer plays the Grand Theatre on Sunday April 18th and will be performing a selection of the greatest hits of his career as well as songs from his new album.

Blackpool stag parties wanting to see the performance can get their hands on tickets for £25 - meaning that it could prove to be a good value end to a weekend visit.

Having received high praise for his tour last year, the 80s superstar could be set to provide a treat for fans new and old. When reviewing his last tour The Scottish Sun said: "Outstanding voice, his solo set proved who really was the star of Culture Club."

Boy George was tipped by a number of newspapers recently to appear in the final series of celebrity Big Brother.
