Bristol stag parties may enjoy theatre visit

Bristol stag parties with a passion for theatre may enjoy a visit to the city's Old Vic theatre as part of their weekend away.

Among the events hosted by the historic theatre company is the Winter Revels, an evening of song, music, poetry and wit in support of the theatre.

The event takes place on Friday January 10th and starts at 19:00 GMT, which could leave Bristol stag parties with plenty of time to explore the city during the day.

The performance includes the likes of Stephanie Cole, Jeremy Irons, Pamela Miles and Tim Pigott-Smith and tickets for the evening cost between £15 and £45, which may suit revellers with all budgets.

If that is not an appealing show then those that would still like to catch something at the theatre may enjoy Hansel and Gretel, which the theatre describes as a "world of darkness, wit and wonder, of earthy delights and crooked shadows". A Sunday matinee on December 27th could provide the ideal post-Christmas day out.
