Comedy all rounder could provide the perfect Blackpool stag night

Men heading for a Blackpool stag night may be interested to hear that funnyman Ricky Gervais is stopping off in the town for two nights fresh from his recent Hollywood appearances.

After taking the world by storm with his recent film and TV work, the comedian is returning to the comedy circuit with a new live show. Typically, there's a theme to the show and this time around the tour is called Science.

The shows will take place on December 9th and 10th at the Opera House Theatre, Winter Gardens and cost £30 each, which could enough cash left over for a night at one of the seaside resorts many bars or clubs.

The comedy all-rounder has accumulated a multitude of awards and honours throughout his career, including seven BAFTA Awards, four British Comedy Awards, three Golden Globes, two Emmys and the 2006 Rose d'Or, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.

As well as the Blackpool dates the tour will take Ricky Gervais to Birmingham, Sheffield and Brighton.
