Air festival could be ideal for stag weekend in Bournemouth

Those heading to the seaside town of Bournemouth for a summer stag weekend could be interested to learn about a aviation festival which is set to take place in the area in August 2010.

Due to take place between August 19th and 22nd, the Bournemouth Air Festival is set to features "awesome" displays as well as evening entertainment.

And it could interest those planning on having their stag night in Bournemouth to know that the event is totally free, which may leave them with plenty of cash to splash in the town's restaurant and bars.

According to the event's website, last year around 1.3 million people flocked to the air event, setting a new record for visitor numbers to Bournemouth.

Planes featured included the Mustang, Spitfire and the Kitty Hawk.

At last year's event, there was also an Army assault course and visits from both the Marines and the RAF.
