Celebrate Christmas on Edinburgh stag weekend

Those heading to Scotland for an Edinburgh stag weekend could head to the city during November or December to get a taste of the area's festive celebrations.

From the end of this month to Christmas Day itself, the city is hosting a month-long festive party, which could help a stag weekend in Edinburgh go off with a bang.

The Edinburgh tourism website noted that people could head to the "glittering lights" of the city's George Street shopping district, or take a trip on the Edinburgh Eye.

"Whatever your age, Edinburgh's Christmas is a magical way to make the most of the season of good will," the site said.

Edinburgh's German Christmas Market could also prove to be an ideal place for those on a stag weekend in the city to visit, as there promises to be "tasty treats and warming mulled wines".

While on a stag weekend in Edinburgh, men could also head over to the city's famous castle.
