Nottingham stag party revellers could learn about Robin Hood

Those heading for a stag party in Nottingham could use their weekend away to learn about the local history and legend of the area and the country of Nottinghamshire as a whole.

Located on Maid Marian Way, the Tales of Robin Hood exhibition could give stags the chance to learn about the area they are visiting as well as have a weekend full of fun in the city's bars and clubs.

On the Visit Derbyshire website, the venue is described as a "dark and romantic world", with local legend Robin Hood called "the world's most infamous and endearing outlaw".

And history buffs on their stag weekend could be interested to learn that the Robin Hood exhibition is near to the city's castle.

The exhibition is open from 10:00 GMT until 18:00 GMT, so stags visiting will have plenty of time to head to the bars of Nottingham to make their stag night go with a bang.
