Film festival great for stag weekend in Bristol

Those heading for a stag weekend in Bristol this month could be interested in visiting a short film festival which is due to take place in the city from November 17th to 21st.

And this year's Encounters Short Film Festival may be the best one for those on a stag weekend in Bristol to check out, as the festival will be celebrating its 15th anniversary.

In total, 150 films will be up against each other to win one of the 12 prizes on offer, which are worth around £15,000 altogether.

Those on a stag weekend in Bristol with an interest in foreign film and animation could be interested to learn that the event is set to feature drama, comedy, music videos, animation and documentaries from some 58 countries around the globe.

After checking out the festival, stags could go to one of the city's many bars and restaurants - and the Bordeaux Quay eatery could prove a good choice, being the recent winner of a tourism award.
