Culture vultures could head for a Nottingham stag weekend
Those looking to add a touch of culture to a stag weekend in Nottingham could find that this month is a great time to hold their wedding celebration, as the city will be hosting a David Hockney exhibition.
Due to begin on November 14th and run until the end of January, the event is set to "offer a portrait of the artist as a young man".
The work featured in the exhibition will date from 1960 to 1968, which could be of interest to art fans heading for a stag weekend in Nottingham.
The Nottingham Contemporary website said: "At this time Hockney was playing with a multitude of styles. His breakthrough works were inspired by the abstract painting of the time."
As well as this art exhibition, visitors to Nottingham could be interested to know that on the third Friday and Saturday of every month, the city hosts the Regional Fine Food Market.
