Bristol 'best city in England'
Bristol has been voted the best city in England, which could interest those planning a stag night in the area.
According to the results of a One Poll survey of 5,000 people, the city is the best place to live and scored highly in regards to its cleanliness, quality of life and proximity to the countryside.
And in news which may interest those heading to a stag weekend in Bristol, the inhabitants of the city were also praised for their friendliness.
Commenting on the figures, a spokesperson for One Poll said that in Bristol, there is a community spirit as it is a relatively small city.
"Residents have what they need at their fingertips - a bustling, varied city centre, a great night life and friendly people," he said.
During this month, the city will be hosting the Celebration of Food event, with 80 events set to take place across the area.
